We are in search of enthusiastic, hardworking, positive, animal loving pet professionals to help us carry out the daily administrative & front office tasks associated with doggie daycare, boarding and grooming guests.

Willingness to accept sloppy puppy kisses Answering multi line phone system, returning voicemails and emails Scheduling boarding, grooming and daycare reservations Verifying required vaccine information for each guest entering the facility Checking in guests as they arrive, helping to accommodate our guests needs to the specification of each owner Escorting canine guests to daycare or boarding when technicians are with other guests Assisting in educating owners as needed Efficiently operating within our company's POS software system Maintaining the cleanliness of the front lobby and restroom Removing nose art from windows Cattery cleanliness maintenance, feeding & providing individual care for our purr-fect cat guests - This job will have you feline good! Maintaining Facility Laundry & Dishes is required Assisting the Owner, Office Manager & Kennel Manager as needed Cross training as a kennel technician not required but is a plus Punctuality and eagerness to learn are a plus Willingness to accept dog glitter on clothes/shoes on a daily basis from your fur-ever friends We provide training to learn the skills needed to provide premiere care to our guests.
Requirements:
Prior Veterinary Receptionist or Kennel Front Office Experience at a Licensed Boarding/Daycare Facility is Preferred but not required Attention to detail is highly encouraged Administrative experience is required Punctuality - arriving on time for your shift is required Ability to escort large breeds to boarding or daycare Shifts are:

30-12pm & 3-7pm Monday-Saturday / 6:
30-12pm & 2-7pm Sundays Ability to work Double Shifts, Holidays & 2 Weekends per month availability is required.

The Lodge for Pampered Pets is open 365 days a year, including weekends and holidays.
Lobby hours of operation are 6:
30am-12pm & 3pm-7pm - Monday-Saturday and 2-7pm on Sundays.
Shifts will be scheduled within the parameters above.
For the health and comfort of our guests, we cannot deviate from the hours above.
For example, shifts cannot be altered to 8-2pm or 1-7 pm.

A double shift would consist of working 6:

We ask employees for 2 weekend per month availability (every other weekend).

The lobby is closed on Major holidays - New Years Day, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, Thanksgiving & Christmas Day.
The lobby is open for all other holidays, including Halloween, Christmas Eve & New Years Eve.
We try and alternate holidays between employees.
Are you available to work holidays? The Lodge for Pampered Pets provides boarding, daycare and grooming for our guests.
Our guests consist of all sizes and breeds of dogs & cats.
Receptionists may be asked to escort guests (dogs/cats) to their appropriate kennel or daycare yard.
Are you willing to work with all sizes and breeds of dogs/cats? The reception team will accept arrivals & departures, answer phones & emails, and organize/upload paperwork.
Reception is also responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the front lobby, restroom, and cattery - this includes windows, mopping and vacuuming.
Reception is also responsible for laundry & dishes.
