We use a team approach, so good communication skills are a must.
We are looking for an experienced Veterinary Receptionist to join our team.
The ideal candidate will know how to gather information (basic triage) and schedule appointments appropriately while providing friendly and efficient customer service, managing patient records, and answering phones.
Excellent communication skills, a friendly and professional demeanor, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are requirements of this job.
Responsibilities:
Greet clients and their pets in a friendly and professional manner.
Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
Gather information, accurately enter it into the patient record and scheduling services to maintain an efficient flow of hospital activities.
Manage client records, and process payments.
Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
Assist veterinarians with animal care as needed.
Provide basic customer service, such as answering questions about services offered and providing directions to the office.
